A comprehensive journey through Tunisia, from north to south, featuring heritage, culture, spectacular landscapes, and authentic encounters.

✈️ DAY 1 — DEPARTURE AIRPORT • TUNIS OR MONASTIR

Meet at the departure airport and fly to Tunis or Monastir.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.

Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay in Hammamet or Monastir.

🕌 DAY 2 — TUNIS • CARTHAGE • SIDI BOU SAÏD • HAMMAMET

Set out to explore Tunis and its magnificent Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After lunch, take a guided tour of the archaeological site of Carthage, the ancient capital of an empire whose fleet extended far beyond the Tunisian coast.

Continue on to Sidi Bou Saïd, the famous white-and-blue village nicknamed the “Saint-Tropez of Tunisia.”

Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its picturesque and lively narrow streets, with an exceptional view of Carthage and the Gulf of Tunis.

🕌 DAY 3 — KAIROWAN • TOZEUR

Departure for Kairouan, the Maghreb’s first holy city.

Explore the famous Great Mosque of Oqba Ibn Nefaa, one of Tunisia’s oldest and most prestigious buildings.

Visit the mausoleum of the barber Sidi Sahbi as well as the famous Aghlabid pools.

Then, explore the Medina and its souks, renowned in particular for their magnificent knotted carpets.

After lunch, continue on to Tozeur via Gafsa.

🏜️ DAY 4 — MOUNTAIN OASES • TOZEUR • NEFTA

Free morning to enjoy your hotel or take a 4x4 excursion to the mountain oases of Tamerza and Chebika.

🚙 Optional excursion to be booked and paid for on site: approximately 20 €.

Lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon, take a guided tour of Tozeur, a surprising town in the heart of the desert, famous for its vast Saharan oasis and its medina with its distinctive sand-colored buildings.

Continue on to Nefta, whose oasis—nicknamed “La Corbeille”—forms a vast, lush oasis in the midst of the desert landscape.

🐪 Option for a horse-drawn carriage ride; must be booked and paid for on site.

🏜️ DAY 5 — CHOTT EL-JÉRID • DOUZ • MATMATA • DJERBA

Departure for southern Tunisia.

First stop at the spectacular Chott El-Jérid, a vast salt lake whose ever-changing landscapes and play of light can create fascinating mirages.

Then on to Douz, nicknamed “the gateway to the Sahara,” a true oasis in the middle of a sandy landscape.

Continue on to Matmata and explore its astonishing cave dwellings, carved into the ground by the Berber people to protect themselves from the heat.

Lunch at the Sidi Driss Hotel, itself built into a cave dwelling and made famous by its appearance in Star Wars. Its famous courtyard still serves as the restaurant today.

Continue on to Djerba via Mareth.

🌴 DAY 6 — DJERBA

Depart for a tour of the island of Djerba, through the countryside and into the heart of local life.

Explore Guellala, the famous pottery village, followed by Midoun and La Ghriba, an iconic synagogue and a major site of Tunisian Jewish heritage.

Lunch.

Continue to Houmt Souk, the island’s capital, where you’ll have free time to stroll through the souks and explore local crafts.

🏛️ DAY 7 — GABÈS • SFAX • EL DJEM • HAMMAMET OR TUNIS

Early morning departure for Gabès to explore its vibrant Jara spice market.

Continue on to Sfax for lunch.

Then drive to El Djem, famous for its impressive Roman amphitheater, considered one of the largest in the ancient world and capable of seating up to 35,000 spectators.

Tour of this exceptional monument, a true testament to Tunisia’s rich history.

Continue on to Hammamet or Tunis.

✈️ DAY 8 — TUNIS OR MONASTIR • DEPARTURE AIRPORT

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the Tunis or Monastir airport.

Flight to your departure airport.
